The Whole Adapted to the Use of Country Gentlemen about to Build or to Alter. London: J. Taylor, 1807. 1st ed. 4to. v,22pp. 22 engraved plates (including 8 double-page). Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in period-style _ brown morocco, raised spine bands, marbled endpapers, T.e.g. Light scattered foxing, else very good. Robert Lugar (1773-1855) began his practice of architecture in 1799. He was influenced by John Nash and Humphry Repton and worked in a number of styles including Grecian, Tudor Gothic, and Cottage.
