About the Author
Sandy Bothmer has a Master of Education Degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Her elementary teaching career spanned twenty years. She designed a Writer's Workshop in the early 1980s for the Gifted and Talented Program she taught for grades two through five in Illinois. Currently, she teaches Creative Kids Yoga, a program created by Rosemary Todd Clough, to preschool and elementary school children and assists at the Creative Kids Yoga Teacher trainings. During the summer, Sandy teaches Peaceable Classroom strategies at the University of Connecticut's Confratute, The Summer Institute of Enrichment Learning and Teaching. She also presents workshops at various educational conferences and schools. Sandy has been a Reiki master for twelve years and has a private practice in energy medicine, working with adults and children who have special needs, including anxiety issues, ADHD, Asperger's Disorder and autism.
