About the Author

Robert J. Rosania is a successful training and career management consultant with more than 20 years' experience working with organizations and individuals to improve performance and develop effective career management strategies. He has extensive experience in the areas of program design, development, and presentation, with an emphasis on leadership development, behavioral change, and HPI.

Rosania has a master's degree of arts in student personnel services in higher education (counseling) from Seton Hall University and bachelor's degree of arts in psychology from the University of Dayton. In addition, he has studied family therapy at Trinity Counseling Center in Princeton, New Jersey, and completed an advanced course in group leadership at the Institute for Human Relations Training in New York.

He has served as an adjunct instructor in psychology at Mercer County Community College (New Jersey) and in the leadership and motivation program at Pennsylvania State University--Ogontz. His special interest and expertise on the subject of work-life balance has led to appearances on local radio shows in Philadelphia. Rosania is an active member of ASTD and founder of the New Practitioner Special Interest Group for the greater Philadelphia chapter where he helps mentor those new to the training field. He has written articles for Hospitals Magazine and ASTD's Performance in Practice and was a featured contributor to the book In Action: Improving Performance in Organizations edited by William Rothwell and David Dubois (ASTD, 1998). In addition, Rosania conducts the Credible Trainer Workshop for businesses and organizations.
