About the Author: Helga Tucque grew up in Hirschberg, Silesia, Germany. In 1946 she and her family were deported to West Germany. She immigrated to Edmonton, Canada in 1957 with her husband and son. Attending evening classes she finished high school and several writing courses. Until her retirement Helga worked as medical and legal secretary. Seven of her short stories were published in the book Word Weaver's Tapestry
