About the Author:

Meg Campbell grew up with five siblings in La Jolla, CA, where she graduated from The Bishop's School for Girls. After graduating from Radcliffe College in 1974, she worked as a community organizer in Arkansas, Texas, Lousiana and Vermont; legislative research director at the Massachusetts State Senate, and teacher and administrator in the Chelsea, MA Public Schools.

Currently a Lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and Executive Director of Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound, she holds an M.S. from Wheelock College and a C.A.S. from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She teaches a poetry immersion course for teachers at Teachers and Writers Initiative in New York City.

Meg Campbell is currently working with William Duke on an anthology of poems about divorce, SPLIT VERSE: POEMS TO HEAL THE HEART. Her daughters, Moriah, a senior at Wellesley College, and Adrienne, a sophomore at Barnard College, call Boston their home.
