Later, he served as the 34th President of the United States (1953-61). Includes photographs selected by Edward Steichen and 38 maps, including four in color. This copy is inscribed by Harold L. Esch, a world class lawn bowler who served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and signed by Eisenhower on the half-title. Octavo. Original tan cloth binding, with black stamping.
