About the Author:

Jack Kenny took his first trip to Cuba in April of 1996 and has returned more than 40 times. He is a dealer in Cuban photography and art, including the work of the famous Cuban photographers, Alberto “Korda” Diaz and Osvaldo and Roberto Salas. In addition, he is the publisher of the image bank which offers images of Cuba free for educational purposes. Prior to the Cuba project, Kenny’s worked primarily as a studio photographer, specializing in B&W nudes. He has exhibited in galleries in Michigan and had his first one man show dedicated to the nude in Havana, Cuba in February of 1997. Kenny’s current projects include: A B&W traveling exhibit with 35 16x20 sepia toned prints of his photos, 15 famous photos of the Cuban Revolution, and 20 archival photos of Cuba. CUBA, the book - a 120 page coffee table book with 106 duo-tone images of Cuba from Corazon Press. An exhibit of new work from the book. He lives in an historic house in Ann Arbor, Michigan with his daughter Lauren
