About the Author:

Born in 1958, Edith Ruth Natukunda–Togboa grew up in Ibanda, Western Uganda and attended Gayaza High School. She did her B. A. in Makerere University, M.A and Ph.D in French Studies at the Université de Provence (France). She is a senior lecturer in French, researcher/ consultant in gender & development, peace & conflict studies.
