The copyright page states 1941 but the dust jacket's most recent "Curious George" printing was "Curious George Goes to the Hospital", printed in 1966. The book measures 8.5" x 10.25", 56 pages, with illustrated endsheets. With its original dust jacket. The dust jacket is in very good plus condition. The panels and spine are very well preserved with very minor wear. The original price of $3.25 is present on the front flap but the bottom part of the flap is clipped. The book is in very good plus condition. The red cloth boards are very well preserved and the black lettering and illustration on the front board and spine is bright and clear. The illustrations are vivid. The front board is starting. The textblock is clean and bright with sounding. A beautiful copy of one of children's literature's most beloved characters.
