Stated first printing. Yellow/beige cloth in unclipped jacket. London given as place on the title page, although dust jacket and copyright page give New York as location place for the publisher. 279 pages. The author's first book, depicting both the historical and modern struggle of Native Americans, as well as examining stereotypes and seeking the goal of sovereignty for Native Americans. GOOD+ jacket on a VERY GOOD book. Minor fading and rubbing to the jacket, with minor bumping, scuffing and creasing along the extremities. Light fading to the book, mostly along the spine and extremities, with light bumping to the book edges. Price/date stamp on the first endpaper. Text clean and solid. Bookseller Inventory # 004749
