About the Author:

Dr. Nabam Nakha Hina M.A., LL.B., Ph.D., teaches in the Department of Political Science, Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. He has contributed a number of research articles relating to traditions and customary laws of Arunachal Pradesh in general and the Nyishi Tribe in particular. The author is an active worker of various movements for indigenous sociocultural changes in the state. He is a member of many professional and non-professional organisations. He also gives free legal counselling to the needy people of the areas.
