Modern sensitive restoration: front board reattached, back hinge strengthened, and spine restored. English physician Robert Willan (1757-1812) is considered the founder of dermatology. First American Edition. Although additional volumes were planned, only volume one was published before the author's death in 1812. This edition was not issued with plates. Former owner's name faintly at head of title page: W.W. Watson. In Very Good Condition: restoration, as described above; leather is rubbed and scraped; pages are browning but clean and tight.
