SIGNED BY LONNIE ARCHIBALC beneath his name on the title page. 8vo. [8]1-256p. Photo pictorial wrappers decorated in brown and printed in white and black and with a black and white photo on the front wrapper of a the Herman and Elizabeth Huelsdonk homestead built in 1896 homestead and a black and white photo of the author on the rear wrapper. Profusely illustrated with black and white captioned photos and a black and white map of the Olympic Peninsula on the insdie of the front wrapper. A couple of minor dings to the wrapper, corners square and flat, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. Born in 1942 in Carlsborg, WA, Lonnie Dunlap Archbald moved to Forks in 1957 where ie has spent the balance of his life. He and his wife Marge raised their teo sons, Oly and Brad on the Sol Du River. Archibald has published articles in various outdoor mgazines and is also a free lance photographers with his photos published in the Seattle Times and the P.I., as well as in various visitors guides, magazines, brochures and calendars. This is his first book. It consists, in part, of stories gathered from interviews with pioneer families conducted by Ron Shearer of Forks and made into the video series "In Search of a Memory." Archibald has also published HERE ON THE HOME FRONT: WORLD WAR II IN CLALLAM COIUNTY (2014). Bookseller Inventory # 008318
