Pictorial paper-covered boards; toning and some staining to slightly-cocked spine with toning/foxing at tops of boards; light scuffing at spine ends and tips of board corners. Some foxing to edges; toning/foxing to endpapers; some foxing to gutter margins of pages 24-25 but otherwise interior text pages remain clean. Saddle-sewn binding is firm. A very good- copy of an uncommon Edward Gorey title. With the lagniappe of a contemporary mid-1960s bookseller ticket for "The Chimneys | Book Shop | Columbus, | Miss." affixed to front pastedown.
