Poor condition. Collates as complete and paged as i-xvi, [2], 473-508, [2], 509-524, [4], 525-532, [6], 533-548, [4], 549-592, xvii-xxxii pages (plus covers). Paperback: H 25.25cm x L 16.25cm. Detached covers toned and soiled with chipping at edges as well as some light moisture staining; long but mostly closed tear across top of front cover with past owner's signature in partially erase colored pencil at top right, old age-toned tape repairs overlapping both covers at upper spine, large jagged loss of 5cm+ of lower spine paper leaving lower quires exposed. Past owner's ink signature at top right corner of page i; moisture staining at fore-edge margins and bottom margins of initial and rear leaves; some scattered soiling throughout; pencil underlining and/or pencil margin notes found on pages 474, 475, 480, and 485 all within the issue's premier contribution - T.S. Eliot's classic "The Waste Land" - which was its first American appearance. No other pencil markings readily apparent upon a quick perusal. Binding staples show a little rust but binding remains firm. Sold as is with all faults. Other literary contributions include "The Player Queen" by William Butler Yeats, "Many Marriages" by Sherwood Anderson, "Paris Letter" by Ezra Pound, book review "The Aroma of Evanescence" by Bertrand Russell, review "Two American Poets" by Malcolm Cowley, among other prose selections plus b/w plates-illustrations by Robert Delaunay, Constantin Brancusi, Pablo Picasso, Duncan Grant, and Adolph Dehn [Adolf Dehn].
