x, 407 pages. Gold lettering on the spine. Cover is worn , faded and lightly soiled; it has a crease down the middle of it, corners are scuffed. Paper is browning. Inscription on the front free endpaper reads Adam Pease, Cote Orchard, Kelowna, B.C. Jan. 1908. Inserted in the book is also a letter to Adam from S. A. Pease and a partial family tree. The fold-out family tree is in fine condition at the back of the book. This is a good copy of this interesting diary focusing Mr. Pease's interest in Quakerism and on the history of building the railway. Illustrated with a few b/w photographs and silhouettes.
