About this Item

np, profusely illustrated in color. Designed by Graphic Thought Facility. This is the innovatively designed and produced spiral bound catalogue issued in conjunction with the 2011 Gagosian Gallery London installation of Turner Prize-winning Scottish artist Douglas Gordon's most recent film. "k.364" involves two Israeli musicians of Polish descent (Avri Levitan and Roi Shiloah) traveling to Poland from Berlin by train. Shown on multiple screens and with layered sound, the film follows the two men through a desolate landscape in a country whose tragic and violent history is barely resolved for them". The publication is a visual tour de force that also contains an interview with Douglas Gordon by Michael Berkeley as well as an interview with violist Levitan and violinist Shiloah by Douglas Gordon. A brand new, most handsome example of this striking book object still in the publisher's shrinkwrap. Bookseller Inventory # 020442
