Vintage original 11 x 14" (28 x 35 cm.) lobby card no. 6, USA. Lon Chaney, Jr., Robert Paige, Louise Allbritton, Evelyn Ankers, Frank Craven, J. Edward Bromberg, Samuel S. Hinds; dir: Robert Siodmak; Universal. Realart card for the Jan. 1948 U.S. re-release of this classic Universal title. Count Alucard (Dracula backwards) is about to take hold of Judge Simmons (Samuel S. Hinds). Louise Allbritton languishes alluringly in the inset. The story was a sequel to the Bram Stoker novel in which the Count travels to the Deep South from Budapest and becomes involved with a woman obsessed with the occult. The film featured the first man-into-bat transformation on-screen. Card appears to not have been used and is nearly flawless. FINE. Bookseller Inventory #
