Very handsome book bought from a single owner collector. No tears or chips, no names or writing, and no bumps to boards which are beautifully decorated in gilt against the black cloth binding. Dustjacket is protected by brand new mylar. Only fault is a snip off the front endflap where the price was located. Excellent black and white photographs appear throughout the extensive text. There's also some color plates. Covers a wide span of various types of edged weapons. Many were made, but most were destroyed during the war. The Germans of Hitler's Germany revered the sword. They were given them as babies and when they died they were buried with them. Book measures 7-3/4" x 11-3/4" and has 240 page including index. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Bookseller Inventory #
