Volume 1 of Daido Moriyama`s Collected Works, displaying photographs taken by the artist in the period between 1964 and 1973. In original white boards, title debossed on front cover and spine. Includes original dust jacket, almost indistinguishable dents to the edges. On the verso of the dust jacket is a printed monochrome photograph. Contents mainly monochrome photographic plates, with some occasionally in colour, showing scenes of Japanese life, often focussing on the entertainment/theatre scene. Includes original white slipcase, cracked slightly on the bottom edge, with a few dents to the spine and corners, and a few minor marks. Printed on the interior of the slipcase is a monochrome photograph. Also includes leaflet with two essays, by Miyako Ishiuchi and Shinro Ohtake, on the photographer and his works.
