Eight complete, original issues of The Daily Austin Republican, published in 1868 and 1869. All of these issues are in near fine condition and previously unbound. All of these issues either include the debates of the Texas Consitutional Convention or, in one instance, matters surrounding these debates with particular reference to the efforts by some to divide the state into two separate states. All of these issues on from volume one of The Austin Daily Republican. The specific issues are December 30, 1868, January 5, 7, 12, 13, 29, 30, and February 2, 1869, All of these issues have minor defects with some toning and light edgewear.
