This large newspaper has mush wear on the fold and is barely together, but can stil be saely, if carefullu, opened. It is printed on a higher quality newsprint and so is still quite supple. General toning along with a few stains. Some sort of ink stain, possibly written, on front above title of paper (see scan). ; B&W Illustrations; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 4 pages; Interesting old pre-Civil War paper from Savannah. Political ad for Martin Van Buren for President and John Forsyth, Vice-President, also Charles McDonald for Governor of Georgia. Article on The Southern Literary Messenger. At least three ads with rewards for runaway slave. Overall, an interesting old paper. Bookseller Inventory #
