About this title

This collection of quotes and reflections attempts contemporary expression that honors and yet transcends traditional religious and secular articulation, and that honors creation . . . and spirit at the heart of every piece of it. The broad spectrum of quotes, from Lao Tzu to Kazantzakis to Thomas Berry to Mary Oliver to the author, intends to animate consciousness and ground the spirit journey everyone is on. Expect chunks of meat in the spicy soup. John P. Cock's nine books include a spirit journey novel, a memoir, a book of poems, and musings on spirituality, religion, ecology, theology, cosmology, and vocation.

About the Author:

Cock is a traveling spirit guide who grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. He and his family were members of the family Order: Ecumenical for most of 20 years.
