Description:

Hardback with decorative red paper covers, black cloth spine and corners which cleverly imitate leather, paper label title pasted on spine. There is no indication of a date of publication on either the title page or copyright page. The date given above is taken from a now-faded red ink stamp on the front cover of the dust jacket indicating this was a Review Copy received July 17, 1929. The dust jacket is in very good condition although somewhat less than pristine. Decorative end papers. A penciled name "Neal" appears on the front fly leaf, otherwise no marks. This is a very good copy with a dust jacket. Bookseller Inventory #
