VERY RARE, SIGNED by Daugherty on half-title page: "With best wishes, James Daugherty, Geneseo, 1944." 95 pp, sunfaded, a few small tears and marks & smudges. Illustrated inside covers and first end papers have tape reinforcement at spines. Orange cloth covers with brown spine binding have been scuffed; frayed on top and bottom of spine; protective tape on most edges. one corner with cloth bumped away. Spine loosening inside, but all text intact. Has library bookplate on second FEP; card pocket inside back cover; call number inked on spine. Rare collectible. Bookseller Inventory # WML00055
