About the Author:

DE (David Eric) Navarro was born in Newport, Rhode Island, but grew up in inner city Chicago, then rural Crown Point, Indiana and finally suburban Munster, Indiana until he went to college at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. His love of poetry and the writing arts began at age eight and in 1980 he became a published poet in the Purdue Exponent. Hundreds of his poems have since been published in various magazines, publications, literary journals, anthologies, and online. DE lives in the Greater Los Angeles area where he continues to be an avid writer, poet, editor, speaker and minister.
