Victoria L. Thurman was born in Austin, Texas to a mother from New England and a father from the South. She grew up in Americus, Georgia in a bustling, creative household with four siblings. She graduated from Valdosta State College with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. She and her cat, Mr. Bell, live in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
