Book Description Doubleday, Page & Company, Garden City, NY, 1924. Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. A solid, complete, usable ex-library rebound hard cover first printing. This copy was rebound in library cloth many years ago. It is now faded and the call numbers on the spine are partially crossed out with a felt tipped pen. There are library marks on the endpapers (not original to the book due to rebinding), withdrawn stamps and black felt tipped marks through some of the old marks. A library pocket and other material has been partly peeled off the rear endpapers. There is an old library stamp on the tile page and a withdrawn stamp and other marks on the back of the title page. A dozen or so page corners are folded over and a corner is missing from the margin of two pages. There are two tape repairs that I found, both reasonably neat and not yellowed. All text and illustrations are present. A bookbinder could make a reasonably nice copy by replacing the current cloth binding and the endpapers. Seller Inventory # 18777
