We're sorry; this specific copy is no longer available. Here are our closest matches for The Dead Doll and Other Verses by VANDEGRIFT, Margaret.

Description:

Quarto. Frontispiece, plates, and illustrations in text. (Some spotting to a few leaves, but generally clean and fresh.) Original green pictorial cloth, gilt-lettered on front cover and spine (slightest wear at extremities, generally fresh, bright and clean). FIRST EDITION. The 'American Annual Catalogue 1886-1900' (New York, 1889) described the book: "The young readers of 'St. Nicholas', 'Harper's Young People', 'The Youth's Companion', and 'Wide Awake' already know and love many of these wise and witty verses. They will find new ones quite as pretty as 'The dead doll' and 'The fate of the face-maker,' which Miss Vandegrift sends out to the public for the first time in this volume. The volume is full of pictures and uniform with 'Davy and the goblin'." A fine, clean copy. Bookseller Inventory #
