Cumberland County Historical Society, PA. Letters from two Pennsylvania brothers who served in the 36th Regiment and the 7th Pennsylvania Reserves. The letters begin with a June 1861 letter home during their initial training camp. Leo was killed at Antietam in 1862 and John was taken prisoner at the Wilderness and sent to Andersonville. Very good copy of the soft bound first edition. The spine is slightly sun stained. 153 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 22030
