A tight and handsome first edition of this fiction concerning an aged Iowa couple and their aviation-centered youth, featuring Anne Morrow Lindbergh as a character. The author's grandparents George and Veta Priester) were the models for the story, though, and an accompanying Typed Letter Signed from George Priester's son, Charles, presents this copy of the book and explains his parents' role; in addition, a copy of a photograph of his parents in their youth standing in front of an early airplane has been affixed to the front flyleaf.
