About this title

Synopsis:

During the 'dog eat dog' fighting in 'the heat of battle' of war, many things happen that normally would never occur. Extreme incidences happen during wars. Add in terrorism and counter-terrorism to the war, and the incidences can become more frequent and extreme. * * * In this book, a string of serial FBI killings occur in the 'dog eat dog' environment of the global War on Terrorism. The terrorism creates intergovernmental tensions as government departmental powers and boundaries are redefined. Power grabbing fueled by the Patriot Act and loop holes in International Law results in a backlash against the FBI. The Marines, CIA, and Special Forces 'black op' operatives are busy in the Middle-East hunting down terrorists and delivering them to interrogation facilities. The top-level and most dangerous terrorists become 'extraordinary renditions' using the clandestine 'Special Removal Unit' to deliver them to foreign intelligence agents for interrogations with more liberal 'stress and duress' techniques. The FBI is playing the 'Devil's Advocate' by striving to discover the identities of operatives and arrest them for participating in the 'extraordinary renditions' to ensure that torture is not used against terrorist suspects in interrogations. In the U.S., the serial FBI killings continue. Civil rights groups and citizens complain of the FBI tactics used in the investigation of the serial FBI killings. As the story unfolds, the plot thickens and the onslaught of torturous, brutal, and bloody murders of FBI Agents intensifies into an all out attack on the FBI. The FBI tries to hunt down the person or group responsible for the 'Geronimo-like killings.' Clues point in all directions as to who is responsible for the serial FBI killings.
