Two crisp, clean, beautiful books bound in burgundy cloth. Appear like new with no bumps to boards, no names or wriiting ,and pristine inside and out, including exterior page edges. Both volumes have a bound-in ribbon marker and cream colored slipcases which show no bumps and are very sturdy. Both volumes cover Federalist and Anti-Federalist Speeches, Articles, and Letters During the Struggle Over Ratification. Both volume I and II call upon m,any authors for Debates in the Press and In Private Correpondence Sept, 27, 1787 to January 12, 1788 and Debates in the State Ratifying Conventions -- Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, Volume II offers the same two parts as above, but the debates were in South Carolina, Virginia, New York and North Carolina.
