He is the editor-in-chief of Urban Management, a journal published by Institute of Local Government and Urban Studies, Government of West Bengal. He is the joint Editor of a bi-annual News magazine Saksharata Samachar published by the West Bengal State Literacy Mission Authority, Government of West Bengal. In addition to his university assignment, he is the Honorary Advisor to State Institute of Panchayats and Rural Development and Institute of Local Government and Urban Studies, Government of West Bengal.
