Synopsis: This book goes back to the basic principles to derive the author's view on the origins of Pauline Christianity. The author uses references from the bible, which are clear and to the point. I felt that the first chapter about brainwashing was well written and was fundamental to understanding the rest of the book. The second chapter about Paul's life was a real eye-opener. The author then goes on to question main teachings of the new testament, citing references and with examples. After reading this book, I was forced to re-address my own understanding of the bible. I would recommend this book to followers and non-followers of Christianity alike. It gives a whole new angle on the interpretation of the bible, and as a result makes for a very thought-provoking and debate stimulating read.
