About this Item

Volume one. Published presumably around 1935 (according to research) this is the English publication that shows the blue column on the right hand side of the pictorial dust jacket. This is a modern library Giant edition, G-6, with the Random House information on the publisher's page. The book book is tight, the spine cover is still tightly adhered to the text block, there is no writing anywhere, and the corners are still sharp. this was a one-owner book which has been very well cared for. The DJ does have shelfwear along the top and bottom, mostly tiny tears and chips, especially at the spine ends. It is now covered in a Brodart protector. Bookseller Inventory # 001508
