About this title

Synopsis:

Everything you need to know when you only have time for a “Long Weekend” in Palm Beach. One of the wealthiest—and most secretive—enclaves in the world, Palm Beach nevertheless can be experienced like a local. Much more, in many ways, than a place like South Beach. “We went to the Leopard Lounge based on the listing in this book and felt like we belonged. What a great piano bar.” –Jonathan T., Washington D.C. “Greene’s Pharmacy is a local hangout where you can sit at a counter and get a cheap meal. My wife recognized a notorious billionaire sitting three seats away.” --Wilbur F., Redmond, WA + LODGINGS + RESTAURANTS + ATTRACTIONS + SHOPPING + NIGHTLIFE

About the Author:

Delaplaine lives on Miami’s Billion Dollar Sandbar, South Beach, and in London, where he is a partner in a film sales agency and production company, FILMAGINE PLC. Other novels: “Midnight Mass,” about the Christmas Eve robbery of historic Trinity Church in New York. “The Trap Door” follows a boy who is taken back in time to 1594 and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. “The Meter Maid Murders,” a comic look at a detective trying to nab a serial killer on South Beach who only murders meter maids.
