About this title

Synopsis:

Denominational Doctrines deals with the most common misconceptions in the religious world today. Developed after eight years of daily, live call-in radio programs, it reveals Samuel G. Dawson's keen insight into many of the denominational doctrines and beliefs of those we try to teach.

As a result of those call-in radio experiences, he put the information into book form to share more widely with others. While written in an accurate and forthright manner, Denominational Doctrines approaches those who are mistaken with kindness and love.

Explained: Accurate quotations from official denominational sources show exactly what believers of the different philosophies believe. No one you are trying to teach can make a charge of misrepresentation.

Examined: The denominational doctrines are compared with scripture to see if they are really true. Thus, the book teaches how to answer denominational arguments.

Exposed: Not only are the denominational doctrines exposed as coming from man rather than from God, but the book also makes a strong plea to the reader to become just a New Testament Christian.

About the Author:

A physics and mathematics graduate from Texas Tech, Samuel G. Dawson did research in celestial mechanics and intercontinental missile guidance in the aerospace industry before deciding to preach the gospel of Christ. In twenty-two years of public teaching, he did extensive live call-in radio work daily for eight years and participated in a number of religious debates.

Sam's scientific background has given him a logical and thorough approach to the scriptures and a reputation for making Bible students re-think teaching they've taken for granted.

Books by Samuel G. Dawson

Marriage, Divorce, & Remarriage: The Uniform Teaching of Moses, Jesus and Paul demonstrates how Moses, Jesus, and Paul all taught the same thing about this controversial subject. It deals frankly with issues confronting many Christians today and the people they are trying to teach.

The Teaching of Jesus: From Mount Sinai to Gehenna: A Faithful Rabbi Urgently Warns Rebellious Israel shows how many people take Jesus' teaching out of the context of the people He preached to and misapply it to our day.

How to Study the Bible: A Practical Guide for Independent Bible Study teaches dedicated Bible students how to study from choosing a dependable translation to rules for interpretation to solving difficulties in the Bible.

Sam drew on years of experience working with local congregations to write Fellowship: With God and His People (The Way of Christ Without Denominationalism) and Denominational Doctrines: Explained, Examined, Exposed.
