About the Author:

Anne Larason Schneider is a retired Professor of Political Science and former Dean of the College of Public Programs at Arizona State University. She was raised in Ellis County, Oklahoma near Fargo and educated at Fargo High School, Oklahoma State University, and Indiana University. This is her first book of poetry and photography. She writes: I share these poems with some trepidation as they are intensely personal to me. Through poetry, I share my life, my experiences, and my feelings with friends, family and now through this book even with perfect strangers..... Why I write them: to feel. To feel deeply. To connect in a most personal way with something beyond myself. To express myself in a very personal way that goes beyond ordinary conversation.
