In English. || Scarce in jacket; fourth edition, June 1940; Earlier editions published under title, How to design monograms, are by Elizabeth and Curtiss Sprague. Includes "Transfer Craft Pattern: Use these transfers for making Monograms, Names, Initials and Border Designs." which has several different styles and fonts of the alphabet, monograms and symbols. "Over 500 combination monograms and symbols, glance through the pages, a book we can highly recommend."- DJ cover. Very good(+) copy in Good, unclipped dust jacket protected in archival mylar; DJ is edgworn specifically DJ has a 5" open tear along the bottom of the dust jacket that folds around the spine (tear varies from half-inch to one inch deep; no cover text is harmed); two-inch open tear along head of spine DJ (about half-inch tall); DJ corners are chipped with some open tears; DJ is sunned and soiled from handling along the folds; $1.00 price has been penciled out on DJ flap and 1.75 has been written; DJ is overall in decent shape with some definite signs of being around 75 years; cloth and pages are holding up very well; very light rubbing to cloth corners with no fraying; cloth is only very lightly soiled and it's barely noticeable; boards are free of bumps; previous owner's name and address neatly written in pen on rear paste down; o/w pages are clean and free of creases though a little sunned; a solid, tight copy in a well-loved and used dust jacket.
