Inscribed by the author. 75 pp. A collection of poetry by Daisy Aldan, accompanied by drawings by Nell Blaine, Willem De Kooning, Grace Hartigan, Alice Kirkpatrick, Franz Kline and Jackson Pollock. Daisy Aldan is an American poet and translator of poetry, active in the New York City poetry scene in the 1950s and 60s, where she was friends with several beat poets. Epoch literary magazine named her one of America's 50 best poets (see The University of Texas, Austin website for previous biographical information). GOOD condition. Light browning and soiling to the covers. Rear cover with two smallish superficial abrasions resulting in surface loss. Some scuffing. Faint price in ink to the lower front cover.
