About the Book

We're sorry; this specific copy is no longer available. Here are our closest matches for Devilry in the Holy Land by Leese, Arnold.

First Edition. A short work by a leading British fascist of the 1930s, from a period fascist point of view discussing the fate overtaking Palestine at the hands of Jewish interlopers coupled with the craven failure of the British ruling the area by mandate, to offer a once-trusted justice to the rightful inhabitants. An interesting collectible produced prior to the Second World War and the main postwar Zionist emigration to Palestine from Europe and elsewhere by many of the world's Jews. Appears to be the first issue / First Edition of this piece. Paperback, 16pp. A very nice, very much in as new condition. Very rare in this original edition and condition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Bookseller Inventory #

Book Description [London]: Imperial Fascist League, 1938. Soft cover. Book Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. Saddle-stapled, illustrated wrappers; 16 pp. Leese disputes the claim that Jews have any moral right to Palestine and accuses them, with Britain's assistance, of surreptitiously stealing Arab land for the following benefits: 1.) A Key-position in the Near East 2.) Control of the Pipe-Line which brings Oil from Iraq, and which has its terminus on the coast at Haifa 3.) A Double-Nationality for Jews 4.) Control over the hitherto unexploited Oil-field in Palestine and 5.) The Dead Sea Wealth, valued at 300 times the British debt to the United States of America. Leese addresses each of these points in detail, and then continues the internecine squabbling between the IFL and Mosley's BUF by criticizing the BUF's approach to the Palestine question. He cries crocodile tears for the Arabs and Muslims and would certainly focus his ire on them if he were alive today. The rear cover with the stamp of the National Socialist Movement, the Neo-Nazi organization started by Colin Jordan and John Tyndall after their 1962 split from the British National Party. Incidentally, the BNP's vice president was Mrs. Arnold Leese. Paper slightly browned, Fine. Bookseller Inventory # 02185
