1st edition, very good condition, small wear to edges of binding, red cloth binding, with a graphic embossed figure of one of the fuedists on the cover, with a superb full color facsimile dust jacket, published by Brewer and Warren, New York, 325 pages. The Hatfield-McCoy feud was the longest, most bitter, most bloody, and most dramatic fued in American history. The fued started with a tragic love affair between Rosanna McCoy and Jonse Hatfield, and escalated into a major shooting fued, and almost brought Kentucky and West Virginia into a shooting war! Starring; Anderson "Devil Anse" Hatfield and "Old Ran'l" McCoy, leaders of the opposing factions and involving hundreds of their relatives. Illustrated with photographs, and a sketch map of the Fued country and the respective cabins in Kentucky and West Viginia. Quite scarce and more so in this nice condition! A fascinating read!
