About this Item
Printed as 4-volume set. Full cloth bindings. With a Life and Notes by Richard, Lord Braybrooke. A Verbatim Reprint of the Edition of 1848-1849 with a Copious Index. Covers clean and relatively free of damage, except Vol. 4, on which the right edge of the spine is torn or slit from the top to within 2 inches of the bottom. The spine itself is still there but it is sort of hinged on its intact left edge. One could perhaps tape or glue this right edge shut. Interiors are unmarked. Pages are remarkably white. Gilt lettering on spines is bright. Two volumes are somewhat over 500 pages, the other two being somewhat under 500 pages. Vol. 4 has a large index. Bindings are tight, except for Vol. 4 and even on that one there are no loose pages. Additional mailing or shipping fees can be expected because of weight and number of volumes.
