Fine press copy of Edwards account of a cattle drive to Oregon from California in 1837 under the guise of 'The Willamette Cattle Company'. Leaving with 729 head of cattle, upon reaching Oregon 630 head were still alive laying the foundation for the herds of cattle in the Pacific Northwest. Fine handsome copy.
