Quarto. Three volumes bound in one, each with a separate title page and preface: pp. [4] 1-570; [4] 1-218; [4] 1-152. This copy omits volume 1: (*L'Italienne expliquée par la Francoise, l'Allemande & La Latine*). The first title page (v.2) is in French; the second title page (v.3) is in German, and the third title page (v.4) is in Latin. Bound in early 19th century leather, black spine label lettered in gold: "Imperial Dictionaire." Scattered scuffing to the edges and spine back, small early paper-tape repairs to the top corners of the first four leaves, a good or better copy. Large letterpress binder's ticket: "John H. Minuse, Book Binder 83 Cross-street" on the front pastedown. Small ownership signature (in light pencil) and printed label of George P. Tyler on the front paste down, with an additional ownership signature in light pencil on the front fly leaf. An interesting copy featuring an unusually large book binder's ticket. We find only two or three references to this New York City binder at 83 Cross-street, including an advertisement that he published in the *New-York Literary Gazette* in the issue of January 6, 1827.
