Book Description Abbeville Press Publishers; New York, 1981. Hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Oversized hardcover with slipcase and DJ. 10.75 x 11.25 inches. Red cloth with gold lettering and decoration. Stated first edition. 575 pages. A beautiful brick of a book. Heavy, pictorial slipcase. This is the special edition of the book, signed by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston on a special insert at the front. It also includes a foot of original film. It's got the date 1940 on the Disney imprint on it & it shows Jiminy Cricket yawning. Illustrated throughout in color and black and white. Very good condition. There seem to have been several 'special' editions of this book over the years (Disney knows how to re-release to advantage). This is the only version that contains the signatures of both authors as well as the original & unique strip of film. Prices vary widely depending on where the film is from. This strip is from the 1940 release of Pinocchio. Please email with questions or to request photos. This is an oversized book, so extra shipping will be required for international or priority delivery. Signed by Author(s). Bookseller Inventory # Fred-Y169
