About the Author:

For three decades Dr. Sandi Towers has studied the indigenous peoples of the Americas. Receiving a Juris Doctor¡¯s degree, and completing postdoctoral studies in international law, she traveled around the world to study other cultures. A native of Florida, she lectures at historical societies and colleges about the true Florida Natives¡­the Seminoles.
