This is not a modern reprint. This is an unusually well-cared-for example of this book. This is an 1882 printing published by R. Worthington of New York. The "Dixie Cookery" is included in one volume containing 4 additional works - "Five Thousand A Year and How I Made It" by Edward Mitchell; "How We Saved The Old Farm" by a Young Farmer; "$350 A Year! How I Made It By My Bees" by J. W. Pagden; $275 A Year, and How I Made it By My Sewing-Machine" by Julia Fisher. The book is bound in dark brown cloth with still bright gilt and brown lettering on the spine. Very clean and tightly bound with both the spine and the covers having very good, unworn and unbumped edges. The cookbook contains 120 pages and the other 4 books contain 125, 163, 45, and 17 pages respectively. Followed by a 4 page publishers catalog. All 5 books were printed in 1882.
