Two Volumes of the Publisher's bound Issues of 'The Dome', New Series. Blue buckram boards with gilt lettering to spine and covers of each Volume. Vol 1 contains 3 Numbers: Oct. Nov. Dec. 1898. Vol 2 contains 3 Numbers: Jan. Feb. March. 1899. Each issue consisting of contributions from leading art and literary figures from the turn of the century including: W.B. Yeats, Laurence Binyon, Christina Rossetti, Laurence Housman, Hokusai, William Rothenstein, William Strang, Emil Orlik, Gordon Craig etc. Volume 1 contains an original coloured woodcut 'The Pensioner' by Emil Orlik and 4 original woodcuts (full page recto only) by Edward Gordon Craig; Portraits of both Ellen Terry and Henry Irving in 3 colours, a portrait of Walt Whitman and another entitled 'Bussy D'Ambois'. Volume 2 contains an original coloured woodcut, 'Dumas Papa', another original coloured woodcut, 'Design For A Poster', and a pictorial post-card all by Edward Gordon Craig. Uncut pages a trifle dusty, endpapers slightly discoloured, woodcuts in fine condition. A superb set. Bookseller Inventory # 1107
